As someone who grew up in England, and was abnormally tall – I was over 6ft when I was in my early teens – I got into cricket as a fast-ish bowler, and reasonably good batsman.
While I don’t have the time to pursue the sport myself, I still love watching cricket. As a statistician, the sport throws up plenty of data, too.
