WordPress 5.3 & Twenty Twenty Theme

You’ll maybe have noticed this site changed a little (a lot actually) in the past day or so, as I’ve been testing the Release Candidate WordPress 5.3 and have now put the Twenty Twenty theme into production too.

Everything is working pretty well for me, but expect lots of tweaks. As this site is not “mission critical” (I mean, you can always hire me, but it’s not really a front-and-centre eCommerce store or whatever), then I can put up with the quite minor glitches that exist, as I hunt bugs in production.

I love working with WordPress for this reason. On my own projects, I can be bleeding edge, and ahead of the curves, and this trickles into my client work solo and in various teams.

What do you think of the new Twenty Twenty theme (stylistically – don’t mention bugs… yet!)? Leave a comment below.

Props to all those who contributed, as ever.

  1. Just so you can be sure, this is the Twenty Twenty theme… you are looking at it. There are a couple of known issues in flight here, but working them out (they are already PR’ed).
