Usyk Vs Joshua 2: What time is the fight? How can I watch?

Tonight is the night when Anthony Joshua attempts to become a three time champion, in his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk as Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2 takes place for the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight world titles.

Usyk currently holds the straps, after easily outpointing Joshua in their first bout on 25 September 2021, in front of a packed house, at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

British fighter, Joshua, will be out for revenge, and the regain his titles for a third time, in Usyk v Joshua 2, which takes place in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

What Channel Will Usyk v Joshua 2 be on?

As is basically the norm for big title fights, this one will be a Pay Per View in most jurisdictions. In the UK, Sky Sports paid a huge price (over £25m) to show the fight, to Dazn, who owns the global rights, and will in many countries be the place to watch the big fight.

When Will the Fight Take Place?

While the PPV programming on Sky starts at 6pm (BST) on Saturday night (20 August 2022), the ring walk will not happen before 10pm. That’s midnight local time.

Who Will Win Usyk v Joshua 2?

I won’t be able to answer this until after the fight… but personally I think if they both show up in similar shape to the last bout, Usyk will take home the straps again. Joshua needs to get a stoppage inside the first 6 or 7 rounds, and use his superior size and power better this time around. If the bout goes to 12 rounds, the odds are Usyk, who is a superior boxer, will once more outpoint his rival, however, he’s shown up heavier this time, suggesting he’ll try to hurt his opponent more this time, and could well stop AJ, if he needs to go for death-or-glory in the final rounds.

That’s all just my opinion, and I’ll enjoy very much being proved wrong. Hopefully it’s an entertaining bout.
