Norwich City are an English football team who play in the Premier League in the 2019/20 season. Their nickname is The Canaries, after their yellow strip, not because they are used to test for gas in mines.
One match on the evening of Friday 27 December, which was the top half clash of Wolves at home to Manchester City.
City watched as the pretenders to their crown, Liverpool, took apart 2016 champions Leicester 4-0 on Boxing Day, so they would have been looking for a win from this one.

On Tuesday 3rd December 2019, something new came to fans of Premier League Football in the UK, as Amazon Prime got in on the live matches act. A round of six Premier League fixtures took place on Saturday 14th December, with the league leaders, Liverpool, in action against bottom club Watford perhaps the highlight of the day.
