City progressed 3-2 on aggregate after both sides lost their home legs in this all-Manchester affair.
Leg 2 – Man City v Man Utd (0-1) (Agg 3-2)
Man City progressed to the final, despite losing 1-0 at home to Man Utd, thanks to their 3-1 away victory in the first leg.
Leg 1 – Man Utd v Man City (1-3)
City won at a canter at Old Traford.
Semi Final – Aston Villa v Leicester
Another entertaining tie, went right down to the wire, where Villa put themselves into the final with a last-gasp winner.
Leg 2 Aston Villa v Leicester (2-1) (AGG 3-2)
Villa progressed to the final in entertaining style, thanks to a last minute winner from Trezeguet.
Leg 1 Leicester v Aston Villa (1-1)
A tight opening encounter saw a score draw for these two sides who are at opposite ends of the Premier League.
